Launch of Improvement Grants for Public Services working with people Learning Disability

Yesterday Public Health Wales launched Improvement Grants available to support improvement work for people with a learning disability (lifespan).

Bids are invited by application for improvement projects to support the Learning Disability Strategic Action Plan 2022-2026 and the Delivery and Implementation Plan, issued by Welsh Government. Grants of up to £25k are available to all public services to support the delivery of improvement projects.

Applications will be accepted from public sector organisations such as health boards, education and social care. Projects can be undertaken in collaboration with third sector, community and private organisations.

Projects can vary from small, brief projects to larger, eighteen-month projects sitting across financial years 2023/24 and 2024/25. For more information we have attached the application form with guidance notes and a PDF document or you can contact:

Public Health Wales will also be hosting a series of informal virtual lunchtime drop in sessions for staff to talk through their ideas and get some support (Dates in the PDF document). Please email the above representatives to secure a place.
