The Greggs Foundation Community Grants Programme has just launched. As part of this programme, the foundation is looking to make one community grant of £40,000 over two years (£20,000 per year) to a not-for-profit organisation that is based in and operating within a 2-mile radius of the Greggs Outlet at St Mellons District Centre, Crickhowell Road, Cardiff, CF3 0EF as to put some funding back into that community from the profits received.
To be considered for the grant, the not-for-profit organisation based within close proximity of Crickhowell Road in St Mellons should have:
- An annual income of between £25,000 and £500,00 (this may be increased to £1m – to be confirmed) in your last set of accounts;
- At least one set of annual accounts, having been delivering services for over a year;
- Free reserves of less than six months’ running costs in your last set of accounts which includes reserves you have decided to allocate but are free to reallocate and does not include fixed assets such as land and buildings;
- A board of at least three unrelated trustees or directors;
- A safeguarding policy in place.
Further details of this new programme can be found here: Greggs Foundation | Community funding – with applications open until the 18th March 2024.
