We would like to highlight Gail Smith for winning Trustee of the Year at the Cardiff Volunteer Awards 2024.

Serving as Chair of Trustees at Recovery Cymru, Gail has been described as outstanding, having a massive impact on its peer staff, organisational development and most vitally, its members. Through a period of significant personal challenges, Gail has been a champion, ally and critical friend, always displaying the ethos of Recovery Cymru and brings with her a long work history of working with disadvantaged and marginalised people, including homelessness and people with addictions.

Thank you for all your hard work in supporting your local community.
