This email is being sent on behalf of the Cardiff City Deal. The Cardiff Capital Region (CCR) City Deal is a programme agreed in 2016 between the UK Government, the Welsh Government and the ten local authorities in South East Wales to bring about significant economic growth in the region through investment, upskilling, and improved physical and digital connectivity.
I know the priority right now is protection of life/ the vulnerable and on the frontline you are all under the most enormous strain. In the City Deal office the intelligence we’re receiving by the minute is the economic impact of the Coronavirus is already devastating – particularly for smaller businesses/ sole traders. We believe there is an urgent need to ensure information is getting out to the right people to ensure the right support is being targeted where it is needed most.
In order to offer the best assistance to the businesses of the Cardiff Capital Region during the outbreak of COVID-19 and lobby government on your behalf we are asking businesses to complete this short survey.
This survey aims to assess existing and potential negative economic impacts from COVID-19 for Welsh businesses and their staff. Responses to the survey are confidential and will be used to effectively allocate additional support and resources to mitigate economic impacts of the outbreak and to lobby the appropriate agencies to ensure that the support allocated is representative of businesses’ needs.
Your help in responding to this survey will prove vital for us in the Cardiff Capital Region as it will allow us to address the unprecedented issues facing all of us here in the region we live and work in.
