Community Support in Your Area
The sight loss sector in Wales has come together to produce an information resource for those with sight loss during the Coronavirus pandemic. As a sector we are concerned that there are people with sight loss who do not have access to information online. We want to get this information out to those people, who are most vulnerable at this time and we need your help to do this.
If you are contacted by, or contacting, someone with sight loss who is self-isolating and may require assistance with tasks such as shopping or prescription deliveries, the attached list contains contact details of organisations that can provide advice, information or support in your area. Under each Local Authority there is also the local society for blind and partially sighted people. There is also a list of national and specialist organisations. Mae’r sector colli golwg yng Nghymru wedi dod ynghyd i gynhyrchu adnodd gwybodaeth ar gyfer y rhai sydd â colled golwg yn ystod y pandemig Coronavirus. Rydym fel sector yn pryderu bod yna pobl â cholled golwg heb fynediad at wybodaeth ar-lein. Rydym am gyhoeddi’r wybodaeth hon i’r rhai sydd fwyaf bregus ar hyn o bryd ac mae angen eich help arnom i wneud hyn.
Os rydych yn cysylltu ag neu bod rhywun â cholled golwg yn cysylltu â chi sy’n hunan-ynysu ac o bosib angen cymorth gyda thasgau fel danfoniadau siopa neu bresgripsiwn, mae’r rhestr atodedig yn cynnwys manylion cyswllt sefydliadau a all ddarparu cyngor, gwybodaeth neu gefnogaeth yn eich ardal.
