The Wales School for Social Prescribing Research (WSSPR) at the University of South Wales (WSSPR) is working with Third Sector Partners to produce an evaluation framework for social prescribing across Cardiff and the Vale.
The WSSPR team would like to meet organisations and teams of people who are focused on delivering any type of social prescribing services. They have produced a ‘development matrix’ for social prescribing which will allow groups to reflect on strong areas of practice and identify areas of development. In order to understand what this means and how it works, the team have recorded a short film to explain more about it which can be found here: https://youtu.be/njZKODZN6hI.
I you are interested in having a meeting with WSSPR you can follow the Eventbrite link below to book a time for the conversation. These are two-hour slots during which they will discuss with you where you are in your service development journey, and to identify what the next steps might look like for you. There isn’t any prep work for you to do beforehand, and you can book a slot here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/cardiff-and-vale-social-prescribing-framework-tickets-490446066387
If you are unable to access Eventbrite, or if you’d like to find out a bit more before booking, then please contact Prof. Mark Llewellyn: mark.llewellyn@southwales.ac.uk
This is a really good opportunity in a safe space, for groups to reflect on their practice and to think about the future of social prescribing services which we hope you’ll benefit from.
