The Staff team at Cardiff Third Sector Council are currently fielding enquiries from - Individuals,
- Voluntary and Community groups developing their own responses and contingency plans,
- Public Sector partners seeking the best way to access safe, coordinated voluntary and community-based support for the residents of Cardiff.
In our role as the CVC, we are concentrating our efforts on being the conduit between support offered and support needed, whilst supporting organisations, some newly formed, with their governance and planning. We wish to reassure you of the measures C3SC is taking to support our communities especially as pressures arise from the cost of living crisis. A Cost of Living Information Hub can be accessed here. If you have any enquiries, please email [email protected] or telephone your usual contact or see our website for our contact details. Please note our office is now based in Butetown Community Centre (First Floor), Loudoun Square, CF10 5JA – previously moved from Baltic House. We are open Monday to Friday, with visiting hours from 10am to 4pm. Volunteering We have set up a number of specific opportunities for people who are interested in volunteering or looking for volunteers to help out during emergency whilst being mindful of the importance of working in the best possible ways to harness the willingness and energy of those who are well and willing with the key areas of need, whilst protecting the helper as well as the person needing help; if you are interested in helping out in the community or seeking volunteers to support your activities or services, then please register here.
