WCVA has launched the Voluntary Services Emergency Fund (VSEF) application process. The purpose of VSEF is to enable those providing vital support to groups affected by Covid-19, such as: people in isolation, the elderly, carers, people struggling to access food etc so that they can be supported during this time.
VSEF will support not for profit organisations working at a community scale up to a national level in Wales and can be between £10,000 – £100,000. WCVA can consider requests outside this range, but organisations will need to contact us so that we can discuss these requests vsef@wcva.cymru.
Grant funding can be used for smaller capital or revenue expenditure including consumables (for example PPE). However, the request must fit in with the grant aims of maintaining or increasing voluntary services for vulnerable individuals and communities affected by the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Initial funding will be for up to six months.
All requests should be submitted through WCVA’s Multipurpose Application Portal (MAP). Organisations can register using this link; https://map.wcva.cymru
More information can be found in the briefing and FAQs (Cwestiynau Cyffredin) documents and organisations can email vsef@wcva.cymru. Organisations can also be referred to the VSEF webpage and groups can use https://funding.cymru to find the COVID related funding most suitable to you.
