Join us virtually for our hybrid conference: Making mental health and wellbeing a priority in Wales – how can we make it a reality?
In partnership with the Wales Alliance for Mental Health (WAMH) we are holding a hybrid conference on 10 October 2022, World Mental Health Day, at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
The day will be a combination of on-stage presentations and facilitated workshops. Its purpose will be to share both grassroots experiences of good practice in communities and services and potential strategic approaches to make mental health and wellbeing a priority in Wales. Our chair will be Sue O’Leary, Director Mind Cymru and chair of WAMH. Professor Sir Michael Marmot is providing the keynote.
We will be focusing on what it is we can do to make our commitment to prioritising mental health and wellbeing a reality for the people of Wales. The workshops will share innovative and effective work in communities and services across Wales and will also invite a call to action.
There will be a follow up virtual conference in Autumn 2023 for delegates and others to showcase the progress that has been made.

This unique collaborative event sets out to make policy intentions and evidence based practice a reality and we would love you to join us in this endeavour.
