Valuing Voices in Wales: Protecting Rights Through the Pandemic and Beyond – Wales Wide Report
This report brings together findings from a survey, carried out in June 2020, of 72 advocates working across Wales. Advocates shared urgent concerns which reflect not only the restrictions that the pandemic brought but also the wider societal and cultural belief systems and attitudes towards people who are supported through advocacy. The sample size might appear small but it represents a significant number of advocates working across Wales who are in a unique position to identify weaknesses in systems and blanket
abuses of rights.
