Ali has been an integral part of Grange Pavilion and has continued to support and inspire generations of young people across Grangetown and the wider Cardiff South.
His role with the Grange Pavilion and bringing the building into fruition with the wider team after years of engagement and work within the community has meant, the space is inclusive and community-led. He has already managed to bring together large groups of BAME young people from across the area to engage, support them with education and employment so they can be roles models for other young people. He has ensured the Grange Pavilion Youth Forum have a voice and discuss and lead on projects for the benefit of young people across Grangetown.
Ali’s work has ensured young people hold important positions representing young people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities and championing their concerns at various platforms and have given them various opportunities to develop their skills , leadership and confidence.
Thank you so much for all your hard work in supporting your local community.
