Social Prescribing Event 9th October

Cardiff and Vale Regional Innovation Co-ordination Hub (RIC Hub) are pleased to announce the next Social Prescribing Network event will take place from 3.30-5pm on Monday 9th October 2023 via MS Teams. This follows on from the recent ‘Future-proofing social prescribing in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan’ events hosted by the Wales School for Social Prescribing Research (WSSPR).

The event is open to anyone with an interest in social prescribing from across Wales. Please feel free to share this invite with anyone who might be interested in joining us. Click here to join the event or email Dylan.John4@wales.nhs.uk for an invite.

Speakers:

  • Professor Mark Llewelyn (Director of the Welsh Institute for Heath and Social Care, and Professor of Health and Care Policy at the University of South Wales)
    • a session on the Development Matrix, covering why it has been developed, the benefits of utilising the tool and how it can be used.
  • Dr Karen Pardy (Former Cluster Lead for the Cardiff South West Primary Care Cluster)
    • a Q&A session and practical insight into social prescribing from a primary care cluster perspective
