Cardiff Volunteer Awards 2022

Theme: Reconnect in Communities

The Cardiff Volunteer Awards is organised by the Cardiff Volunteer Centre @C3SC (Cardiff Third Sector Council) to celebrate volunteering in Cardiff and recognise the contributions and achievements of volunteers, voluntary groups, and organisations for going above and beyond in our communities.

Following the highly successful virtual event last year – attended by over 100 people, this year’s ceremony will be a hybrid event, held in person at Butetown Community Centre and Online via Zoom. The event takes place at 4pm on 17 November 2022. Please join us from 3pm to meet the nominees, network and enjoy a free light lunch. To register to attend this event for FREE, in person or online, please visit: https://c3sc.org.uk/event-single/cardiff-volunteer-awards-2022/

Sheila Hendrickson-Brown, CEO at C3SC said, “This year’s Awards event, themed ‘Reconnect in Communities’, is bringing together volunteers, community groups and organisations to recognise their efforts and achievements in helping people and communities to deal with the pressures throughout a challenging period of recovery for the county of Cardiff over the past few years. The ceremony would be presented in a hybrid format – the first of its kind and particularly significant as the first large-scale event since the lockdown restrictions. It is our pleasure to reconnect in communities once again – face-to-face and online to show our appreciation for the fantastic work undertaken by the wonderful community of volunteers in Cardiff. We are delighted to welcome back Wales & West Housing as our headline sponsor, with support from Serco, Lovell, Kier Construction, VividBlock IT and volunteers.’’

If you are interested in being a sponsor at this year’s Volunteer Awards event, please see our Sponsorship Package Document or to discuss any of our sponsorship packages, contact us on 07973 725569 or 02920 485722 or email us at: [email protected]. We also have stalls at the event that are FREE for members and at a cost of £100 for non-members. Opportunities will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

End./.
