Kickstart Update – Soft Skills Assessment

At the beginning of this month, we welcomed our first Kickstart employee, Louise Nott, to the C3SC team. During her first week, Louise filled out an assessment form discussing the soft skills she had already obtained before her entry to the role.

This process allows Kickstart employees to be reflective when entering, exiting and throughout their work placement and assess the skills and experience they already have and the skills and experience they have gained during their time with the employer.

When entering her role at C3SC, Louise believed that she had some of the skills she needs to secure employment. She knows there is room for improvement, as the skills she has obtained in previous work experience placements are not quite as developed as she would like them to be.

A confident and motivated individual, Louise is eager to learn and progress as a professional. She feels as though she has renewed her career aspirations since starting at C3SC and feels that guidance and mentoring will allow her to make the necessary changes she needs towards a more positive future.
