How Are You Doing: Report on well-being survey by ethnicity

Public Health Wales is currently undertaking a telephone survey every week to find out how people are doing in the context of COVID and the measures to curb the spread of the virus. This week’s findings are published in the attached ‘Week 7’ report. Also this week, we have published the attached report which analyses the findings with regards to ethnicity.

The report shows that Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the restrictions to prevent its spread are currently having a greater impact on the mental health and well-being of BAME people in Wales. People from BAME backgrounds reported higher rates of anxiety and feelings of isolation, with a third (33 per cent) of BAME respondents saying they felt isolated compared with less than a quarter of (22 per cent) for other groups.

More information and the full report are attached.
