Join C3SC for a networking lunch and discussion at Butetown Community Centre focusing on how we can prepare and help people to live well this winter. As part of our ongoing work within the shared prosperity agenda we are keen to find out what are the essential support services required to address the challenges faced within our health and social care system during the winter season. This collaborative effort between partners, community groups and C3SC members will consider various challenges that face our communities including, but not exclusive to; winter well-being, the return of children to school, food insecurity projects, and concerns regarding the cost of utility bills, such as heating and electricity.
C3SC is committed to providing this opportunity for volunteer groups and third sector organisations to share information, recognising strengths and challenges to achieve a solution focused approach to build both organisation and community resilience.
We want to steer the conversation in how best we can support our communities to address the challenges they face this winter building on the excellent work already taking place by our community groups and volunteers.
The event also offers the opportunity of stall spaces for those wanting to provide advice and guidance – If you wish to host an information stall please contact jalal.g@c3sc.org.uk – we have a limited space for information stalls therefore they will be offered to those based on relevance and a first come first served basis.
