Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CVUHB) has allocated a total of £46,800 for grants to fund new third sector activities that support increased physical activity and/or healthy eating within communities across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The focus on activities related to physical activity and healthy eating reflects strategic objectives for improving health across the population as set out in the forthcoming ‘Move more, eat well’ plan for 2020-23, which can be accessed here: https://www.cardiffpartnership.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/Item-7.2-App-A-Move-More-EatWell-Plan.pdf

Bids are invited for up to £5,000. Proposals that demonstrate innovative approaches to meeting the needs of groups with specific needs/barriers in relation to increasing physical activity or healthy eating are particularly encouraged. The grants will be administered by C3SC in partnership with GVS.
