(NEA Cymru)
Free Energy Advice Sessions now available
National Energy Action (NEA) Cymru is the Welsh arm of the national fuel poverty charity NEA which campaigns to ensure everyone can enjoy the comforts of a warm and safe home. In Wales over 150,000 households and more than 300,000 people are currently living in fuel poverty, living in damp, cold homes which are damaging their health and wellbeing.
We currently have funding to run some free energy advice sessions for low income and vulnerable clients who may struggle to afford to heat their homes.
Would you be able to circulate the information below about the free energy sessions to your members.
Many thanks in anticipation.

If you’re holding a community event aimed at low-income or vulnerable households, NEA Cymru can attend and host a stall. We can provide energy efficiency, fuel debt and general energy advice and access to assistance schemes, where applicable.

Energy Awareness Workshops |
|
If you run a regular group, coffee morning, tenant meeting or the like, NEA Cymru can run an interactive and engaging group workshop to provide practical energy advice. Workshops can last from 45 mins – 2 hours (with breaks and refreshments) and be tailored to suit the needs of your clients. Activities can include energy-related quizzes, games and discussion.

Bill Management Surgeries |
|
Alternatively, if you run a regular group, coffee morning, tenant meeting or the like, NEA Cymru can host a bill management surgery, to provide one-to-one, confidential and impartial advice to your clients. This can run alongside your regular meeting and work on a drop-in basis. |
