EYST Wales upcoming forum: County Lines & Exploitation – Ethnic Minority CYP

The All Wales Black Asian Minority Ethnic Engagement Team (EYST) are inviting people to a “County Lines & Exploitation – Ethnic Minority Children and Young People” forum featuring an expert panel of speakers. This event will provide an opportunity to learn and discuss crucial issues affecting young people. The forum will take place on Wednesday 24th July, 10am-11:30am

Panel Members:

  • Emma Wools – South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner
  • Joshua Stunell – Founder and CEO of bthechange CIC
  • Dr Nina Maxwell – Assistant Director of CASCADE Speciality Co-lead for Social Care

 

Discussion Points:

  • Identifying Exploitation: Do you know the signs of a young person being exploited or used for county lines?
  • Local Initiatives: What is the SW Police and Crime Commissioner doing to tackle this issue?
  • Regional Efforts: What measures are being implemented in Wales to address this problem?
