Colder weather and older people campaign

Public Health Wales are currently sharing messages on health risks associated with cold weather, particularly for older people. Family, friends and neighbours are being encouraged to check in on older people and to take some simple steps to help keep them safe during winter. Various resources have been produced across social media channels.

‘Spread the Warmth’ Campaign from Age Cymru.

 

Public Health Wales have also been working with Age Cymru to amplify their messages about the importance of older people keeping warm throughout the winter. You can find details of their ‘Spread the Warmth campaign here which includes a helpful Winter wrapped up’ guide.
