Each year, Children in Wales’ conduct an Annual Child and Family Poverty Survey. The information that is provided is important and helps to identify and understand more about the experiences and impact of poverty on children, young people and their families in Wales.
The findings for the 2022 survey were widely disseminated, engaging both local and national policy makers, including Welsh Government officials, Ministers and Cabinet. They continue to be used to raise awareness, influence and inform practice and policy across Wales.
There are two surveys – one for practitioners and professionals and the other for children and young people themselves. The surveys are open to everyone, not just those with a poverty remit.
