The Centre for Health, Activity and Wellbeing Research (CAWR) Celebration of Research and Innovation Annual Conference 6th July 2022

Making a difference – using health, activity and wellbeing research in practice.

The event will take place at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Cyncoed Campus on Wednesday 6th July, 9.15 am – 2.30 pm.

This free inter- and multi-disciplinary event will showcase the research and innovation work undertaken in CAWR. The conference will bring together students, researchers and practitioners who have an interest in health, activity and wellbeing research and how it is used in real-world settings. The conference programme allows ample time for both hearing about research and networking with other delegates.

The programme will include:

Welcome and introductions from Dr Katie Thirlaway, Dean, Cardiff School of Sport and Health Sciences and Professor Diane Crone, Director of CAWR.

International keynote presentations:

Key speakers are exceptional applied researchers from academia and private consultancy. They are engaging presenters, passionate advocates of moving more and sitting less and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the conference.
