Blood Pressure Monitor Loan Scheme Now Available at Cardiff Hubs

Cardiff residents can now borrow blood pressure monitors from all local hubs, thanks to the new Blood Pressure Monitor Loan Scheme. This initiative allows individuals to monitor their blood pressure at home, similar to borrowing a library book. Monitors are available for a three-week loan period, after which they can be renewed or returned to any Cardiff Hub.
  • How it Works: Simply visit a Cardiff Hub to borrow a blood pressure monitor. Return or renew it within three weeks.
  • Important Note: Hub staff are not trained in medical usage of the devices. Users are encouraged to refer to the instructional materials provided.
  • Why Monitor Blood Pressure?: High blood pressure often has no symptoms but increases the risk of serious conditions like stroke, heart attack, kidney disease, and dementia.
