The Bevan Commission conference- Transforming the future of health and care together, will mark the 75th Anniversary of the NHS at the Celtic Manor Conference Centre, Newport on 5th & 6th July 2023.

The conference will reflect upon the origins of the NHS, its achievements, and changing needs, to help find innovative, transformative, and sustainable solutions for health and care for future generations. The conference will have four core themes over the two days, based around the new sustainable model for health and care:

1.    Resilient and Resourceful People and Communities

2.    Prudent, Integrated Health & Care Systems and Workforce

3.    Sustainable and ‘Equally Well’ approaches- Economic, Environmental, Social

4.    Transformative, Fit and Flexible for the Future

The Bevan Commission conference draw together a dynamic and challenging programme of eminent national and international speakers to share their experience and learning across the health and care community. Confirmed speakers include Prof Donald BerwickProf Sir Michael MarmotProf Sir Andy Haines, and the Minister for Health and Social Services, Eluned Morgan MS.

This conference is a much-needed opportunity for us to critically reflect, share thinking, ideas and new ways of working.  We want to galvanize energy and enthusiasm to deliver the radical changes needed to sustain and transform health and care in Wales.

The Bevan Commission conference look forward to marking the 75th Anniversary of the NHS, alongside others, to enable important, timely conversations about future solutions.
