Multi Million Pound Investment To Improve Access To Cancer Services In South Powys

Kate Wright, Medical Director of Powys Teaching Health Board said:“We warmly welcome the news that a £38m investment has been confirmed at Nevill Hall Hospital to provide two linear accelerators at a new radiotherapy ‘satellite’ centre due to be open by 2024.

New inpatient mental health unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital

The new unit, which would represent an investment of up to £84.5 million, will replace the Ablett Unit at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and the Older People’s Mental Health inpatient facility at Bryn Hesketh, Colwyn Bay.
