A Minimum Digital Living Standard for Wales – Stakeholder Survey

This project has been commissioned and funded by the Welsh Government. The team consists of researchers from the University of Liverpool, Loughborough University, Cwmpas (Wales Co-Op) and the Digital Inclusion Alliance in Wales.

We are writing to remind you about the survey detailed below. This is part of the Welsh Governments Minimum Digital Living Standard (W-MDLS) research.

We are keen to get as many responses as possible to this very short survey and would greatly appreciate your input.

The project aims to develop a definition of what different household types in Wales may need in terms of their access to, and ability to benefit from, digital goods, services and opportunities. As part of the project, we have conducted interviews with a number of organisations, similar to yours, who have a key role in supporting citizens in relation to issues of digital needs, inequalities and inclusion in the Welsh context.

You are invited to complete a short questionnaire survey designed to collect your thoughts and feedback on the preliminary findings from the first stage of the project – the survey can be accessed here or via this web address: https://liverpool.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/welsh-mdls-online-questionnaire-for-stakeholders-2

The questionnaire (accessible here), explores some of the key themes that have emerged from the interviews. As such, it provides an opportunity for you to review these themes and comment on their relevance to digital inclusion in Wales.

Your contribution would be very valuable and much appreciated.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions (Simeon Yates: Simeon.Yates@Liverpool.ac.uk; Franco Polizzi: G.Polizzi@Liverpool.ac.uk).
