Pembrokeshire County Council and partners in conjunction with Business have organised supplier engagement events for the Cynnydd Project.
Pembrokeshire County Council is the lead organisation running a collaborative procurement project for the provision of support and training to young people aged 11-24 at risk of becoming NEET, which aims to reduce that risk. It is expected that this project will be supported by the European Social Fund from the West Wales and the Valleys 2014-2020 programme.
Confirmed partner organisations are Pembrokeshire College, Carmarthenshire County Council, Coleg Sir Gar, Ceredigion County Council, Coleg Ceredigion, City & County of Swansea Council, Gower College Swansea, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and Neath Port Talbot Group of Colleges. A similar project will operate in Powys led by Powys County Council. This is expected to be supported by European Social Fund from the East Wales 2014-2020 programme. This procurement process (and events) will cover both the West Wales and the Valleys and East Wales projects.
The project team has produced a draft specification and are looking to hold supplier engagement events to primarily discuss the draft specification and make any amendments prior to going to market. The event will also provide the opportunity to explain the tender process.
