This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is taking place 13-19 May 2024 under the theme ‘movement: moving more for mental health’.

A new research report has been released by the Mental Health Foundation, showing that despite our knowledge that regular physical activity is good for our mental health and wellbeing, over a third of UK adults do not meet the recommendations set out by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The research explores what’s stopping the UK population from being more active, and what could get people moving more for their mental health.
