Trustee’s Workshop on Safeguarding Roles and Responsibilities Friday February 11th 10:00 -11:30am

Delivered by WCVA in Partnership with Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC)

The workshop aims to explore the Trustee’s and Board Member’s roles and responsibilities on safeguarding. Trustees to gain an awareness on safeguarding context in Wales covering all age group and as broadly applicable to all settings as possible

The main outcomes are to:

• The Charity Commission requirements of a board related to safeguarding
• The Safeguarding context in Wales and what this means for a board
• Board safeguarding practice and culture, and what we have learnt (at WCVA) in this area
• A range of safeguarding resources

The event will be taking place on Zoom and the link will be sent through 24 hours prior to the event taking place.
