Introduction to Food Allergens

Community Food retail project volunteers and staff can obtain the free Food Standards Agency food allergy online training certificate worth three hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). To claim your 3 hours towards the Community Food Retail training package you will need to send us proof of the certificate before the end of April. Register your details here to qualify and we will send you a reminder and further instructions.

The training contains six modules relating to food allergy and intolerance, with a knowledge check at the end of each module. These modules are divided into the following themes:

  • Effects that allergies have in the body
  • The rules for allergen information
  • Managing allergens in the factory
  • Providing accurate allergen information for prepacked and non-prepacked food
  • Managing allergens in a catering environment
  • The use of voluntary labelling

Mae’r cwrs ar-lein hwn yn addas ar gyfer y dysgwyr hynny sydd angen mewnwelediad i Alergenau Bwyd a phwysigrwydd eu rheoli’n effeithiol.

Am y digwyddiad hwn

Gall gwirfoddolwyr a staff prosiect manwerthu Bwyd Cymunedol gael tystysgrif hyfforddi ar-lein alergedd bwyd yr Asiantaeth Safonau Bwyd gwerth tair awr o Ddatblygiad Proffesiynol Parhaus (DPP). I hawlio eich 3 awr tuag at becyn hyfforddiant Manwerthu Bwyd Cymunedol bydd angen i chi anfon prawf o’r dystysgrif atom cyn diwedd mis Ebrill. Cofrestrwch eich manylion yma i fod yn gymwys ac fe anfonwn nodyn atgoffa a chyfarwyddiadau pellach atoch.

Mae’r hyfforddiant yn cynnwys chwe modiwl yn ymwneud ag alergedd ac anoddefiad bwyd, gyda gwiriad gwybodaeth ar ddiwedd pob modiwl. Rhennir y modiwlau hyn i’r themâu canlynol:

  • Effeithiau alergeddau yn y corff
  • Y rheolau ar gyfer gwybodaeth am alergenau
  • Rheoli alergenau yn y ffatri
  • Darparu gwybodaeth gywir am alergenau ar gyfer bwyd wedi’i becynnu ymlaen llaw a heb ei becynnu ymlaen llaw
  • Rheoli alergenau mewn amgylchedd arlwyo
  • Y defnydd o labelu gwirfoddol
