The Network will be a discussion and planning forum facilitated by C3SC for members that will provide opportunities to shape how and where the voluntary sector and local communities should be involved in:

– engaging with communities on safety, cohesion, and equity

– identifying and responding to community needs and priorities

– bringing a sector and community perspective to the challenges, issues, and opportunities

The Network will support members to develop the sector and community roles in:

– issues of justice, crime, equality, and policing

– supporting and promoting thriving, resilient, equal, and safe communities

– influencing the priorities, work programme and spending decisions of statutory sector partners, and

– Maximising opportunities for collaboration and contribution to achieving more positive outcomes in the community
