C3SC is delighted to welcome two key members of our networks:

• Nicholas Olsen – Community Cohesion, Cardiff Council
• Frances Taylor – Stakeholder Engagement Officer, Independent Office for Police Conduct

The Network will be a discussion and planning forum facilitated by C3SC for members that will provide opportunities to shape how and where the voluntary sector and local communities should be involved in:

• engaging with communities on safety, cohesion, and equity;
• identifying and responding to community needs and priorities;
• bringing a sector and community perspective to the challenges, issues, and opportunities.

The Network will support members to develop the sector and community roles in:

• issues of justice, crime, equality, and policing
• supporting and promoting thriving, resilient, equal, and safe communities;
• influencing the priorities, work programme, and spending decisions of statutory sector partners, and;
• maximising opportunities for collaboration and contribution to achieving more positive outcomes in the community.
