2023 marks the 39th year of Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), when C3SC will join thousands of charities and voluntary organisations recognising the contribution volunteers make across the UK.
With this year’s theme of ‘Celebrate and Inspire’ we hope to encourage people to be the change that they want to see and get involved in volunteering in whatever way works for them.
In the spirit of this goal, C3SC staff will be kicking off Volunteers’ Week 2023 with a litter picking event in Butetown – and we’d love to see you there! The event will start from Butetown Community Centre, home of C3SC. Equipment will be provided by Keep Wales Tidy, who support litter picking initiatives across Cardiff.
This is a great chance to try volunteering for yourself, and make a positive impact in your community. C3SC staff and volunteers will be on hand to support you during the event, and are available for any questions you may have about volunteering and the third sector.
Now is the time. Get involved and help make this Volunteers’ Week one to remember!
