Being a Trustee will help new and existing Trustees improve their understanding of best practice in governance.

The aims and objectives of the course are that attendees:

• Understand the key principles of governance
• Understand how trustees as a board are collectively responsible and accountable for ensuring that the organisation is well-run
• Understand the roles and responsibilities of the Board in good governance
• Be aware of good practice guidance in relation to governance

The event will be taking place on Teams and the link will be sent through the day prior to the event.

Participants are invited to bring their organisation’s governing document to the session, if available.
