The protection, or safeguarding, of vulnerable adults should be at the forefront of any social worker or carers’ minds. Adult abuse has become all too common in modern society and this course has been designed to make carers aware of the signs of abuse and what they can do to help. There are no prerequisites to enroll on this course.
Course Objectives / Aims & Learning Outcomes
To provide the knowledge and skills to be able to undertake a range of handling operations in the work/ volunteer place
The content has been written to meet guidance from manual handling operations regulations. Attendees are expected to undertake a range of manual handling activities during the course.
This course will be delivered in person by a trainer from Ajuda Foundation.
