Voluntary Sector Strategy Consultation

24th May 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
About this event

Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) has commissioned Richard Newton Consulting to support the development of a Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Strategy which is to be co-produced with involvement from the breadth of the sector operating in Cardiff. The Strategy is intended to strengthen the role of the VCSE sector in the provision of solutions to the City’s challenges and support future discussions about how and why the public sector should work with and invest in the sector.

We want the strategy to be owned by Cardiff’s voluntary sector, and ensure that all voluntary sector organisations (including unregistered groups, social enterprises, CIOs, CICs, charities and other relevant groups) have full opportunity to participate.

Following a first round of focus groups in which we consulted across the sector, we are currently developing a draft Strategy. We will share the strategy and feedback form via email nearer the time.

There are various ways in which you can feed back your thoughts on the strategy, one of which being attending a focus groups to give us your opinions and ideas. We will be holding a number of these groups, at different times of day and different times of the week to ensure your availability. In return for giving up your time we will also be offering a free fundraising workshop (rescheduled from April). We will share details of this event at the focus group.
