Building on the success of last years the ‘Summer of Fun’ is back again looking to support the wellbeing of children and young people.
Talk To Us: Welsh Government “Summer of Fun” Funding Workshop; hosted by Cardiff Third Sector Council. Building on the success of last years the “Summer of Fun” funding is now open to applications and administered by Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC).
The aim of Summer of Fun is to improve the emotional, social and physical wellbeing of children and young people aged 0-25 years over the summer months. Priorities will be given to vulnerable and marginalised groups, and those families who are identified as requiring extra support.
The funding will support the wellbeing of children and young people ages 0-25 years, between 1st of July 2022 – September 6th 2022, focusing primarily on the six week summer holiday period. To achieve this, Cardiff’s’ based groups have the opportunity to apply for funding in the form of a community grant up to the sum of £5,000; with a deadline for submission of 5pm Thursday, 27th May 2022. For more info on the grant please click here.
The workshop is ideal if you planning to apply. It provide great opportunity to hear from C3SC Third Sector Development Officer about the grant eligibility criteria, tips on applying, the application process and timescale. There will be an opportunity for a question and answer session.
The event will be delivered using Microsoft Teams, and the link will be sent 24 hours prior to the event taking place. The workshop will not be recorded.
