Ensuring your organisation has enough money to carry out all its aims can be one of the biggest headaches for third sector organisations. The information in this section will keep you informed about the many different aspects of funding and commissioning.
We all know that accessing money is a pretty tough and full-time job for most third sector organisations. Preparation is key; it’s not as easy as filling in an application form.
The Third Sector Officer covering your area can give you support – they can help you with your funding enquiries and guide you through the process of applying for funding.
There are several funding opportunities on our website and here are some other resources you may find helpful:
C3SC’s free-to-use funding portal – Open 4 Community
Due to a change in approach, the Open 4 Community funding search portal to run searches and receive alerts on funding opportunities will no longer be available from midnight, 31 March 2018. Consequently, you will no longer be able to run searches for funding or receive the associated news alerts and funding updates through the Open 4 Community service. Information on new arrangements will be updated on our website shortly.
The C3SC Third Sector Development Officers are still available to support organisations with funding searches, to assist with funding applications, fundraising strategy and any other advice or guidance organisations may require.
They can be contacted at C3SC on (029) 2048 5722 or by email:
- Wayne Morgan (City & South and South East Cardiff): email@example.com
- Thoria Mohamed (North and East Cardiff): firstname.lastname@example.org
- Hannah Morris (West and South West Cardiff): email@example.com
