DESCRIPTION:About this event \nC3SC’s Safer\, Cohesive and More Equal Communities Network : 26th January 2023 \nCardiff Third Sector Council will launch their Safer\, Cohesive and More Equal Communities Network on 26th January \nThe C3SC Safer\, Cohesive and More Equal Communities Network is committed to creating stronger\, more resilient and safer communities by ensuring people: \n• feel safe and live in a cohesive community \n• are proud of and want to live\, work\, study and stay in the borough \n• live in a friendly and welcoming borough with strong community spirits. \n  \nA cohesive society is one in which: \n• there is a common vision and sense of belonging by all communities; \n• the diversity of people’s backgrounds and circumstances is appreciated and valued; \n• similar life opportunities are available to all; and \n• strong and positive relationships exist and continue to be developed in the workplace\, in schools and in the wider community. \n  \nThis Network recognises that strong and resilient communities are happier and healthier communities. \nPeople also benefit in terms of their health and wellbeing\, from their connections with people around them and when people look out for each other. \nThe plan is that this Network will act like a glue\, that bonds society together and helps create strong and resilient communities. \nThe meeting will take place on Teams and an invitation link will be sent out prior to the event. \nFor any further enquiries contact C3SC on 07973 725335 or enquiries@c3sc.org.uk. \nWe look forward to seeing you!

SUMMARY:Cardiff Volunteer Coordinators' Network Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Cardiff Volunteer Coordinators’ Network (CVCN) is a Participation and Engagement initiative by Cardiff Third Sector Council as part of its commitment to the development and support of the volunteering infrastructure in Cardiff and its role within Third Sector Support Wales. Each quarterly meeting is packed with information\, guidance\, discussions and networking. It’s also a great way to raise the profile of volunteering in Cardiff. \nIf you are involved in managing or supporting volunteers? Perhaps you’re a paid worker or volunteer yourself you are more than welcome to attend the meeting. \nDate:  Tuesday 31st January 2023 \nTime: 1:30PM – 3:00PM \nLocation: This will be a hybrid event from Butetown Community Centre or Microsoft Teams \nPlease ensure you book the correct ticket for your intended joining method: In-person or Virtual.
