DESCRIPTION:An online training session for new and existing Trustees in Cardiff to learn more about best practice in governance.\n\n\nAn online training session for new and existing Trustees in Cardiff to learn more about best practice in governance. \nThis training course will help new and existing Trustees improve their understanding of how best to run their groups and organisations. \n \nThe aims and objectives of the course are that attendees: \n\nUnderstand the key principles of governance\nUnderstand how trustees as a board are collectively responsible and accountable for ensuring that the organisation is well-run\nUnderstand the roles and responsibilities of the Board in good governance\nBe aware of good practice guidance in relation to governance\n\n \nThe event will take place on Teams and the link will be sent through the day prior to the event. \nParticipants are invited to bring their organisation’s governing document to the session\, if available. \nAs part of our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality\, well-resourced training\, we have recently introduced a revised pricing structure for statutory and private sector attendees.
