DESCRIPTION:  \nFor women who want to make a difference! \nAdamsdown Communities First and “People can” have come together with Women Making a Difference and the Workers Education Association to offer a unique training programme which gives women – particularly those women who are under-represented because of race\, disability or age – the opportunity to learn new skills and gain confidence to take a more active role in their community as well as in public and political life\, and have more influence on the decisions that impact on their lives. \nThe training is FREE and a crèche and lunch will be provided. The course is accredited by the National Open College Network and successful candidates will receive a NOCN Level 1 progression Award. \nThe course runs from Monday 16 January until Wednesday 14 March 2012. DESCRIPTION:For women who want to make a difference!Adamsdown Communities First and “People can” have come together with Women Making a Difference and the Workers Education Association to offer a unique training programme which gives women – particularly those women who are under-represented because of race\, disability or age – the opportunity to learn new skills and gain confidence to take a more active role in their community as well as in public and political life\, and have more influence on the decisions that impact on their lives.The training is FREE and a crèche and lunch will be provided. The course is accredited by the National Open College Network and successful candidates will receive a NOCN Level 1 progression Award. \nThe course runs from Monday 16 January until Wednesday 14 March 2012. The course will be two days a week\, every Monday and Wednesday 10am – 3pm  for eight weeks. \nYou can attend a taster session on Monday 9 and Wednesday 11 January (ideally you need to attend both dates).  \n
