SUMMARY:Introduction to Safeguarding Training
DESCRIPTION:Delivered online by WCVA in Partnership with Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) \nThursday 23rd November 2023 \n9:30am – 12:30pm \nThe course aims to support Third Sector organisations to gain a basic awareness introduction to generic safeguarding; covering all age groups\, and as broadly applicable to all settings as possible. \nThe main outcomes are to: \n• Have increased understanding of what is meant by “safeguarding” and how it is related to different role \n• Have increased awareness of expected safeguarding policy and practice \n• Have increased awareness of the legislation that underpins safeguarding in Wales \n• Know where to find a wider range of safeguarding resources \nThe event will be taking place on Zoom and the link will be sent through 24 hours prior to the event taking place. \nTo sign up for the training\, go here. \nFor any further enquiries please contact C3SC on 02920 485722 or enquiries@c3sc.org.uk \nWe are look forward to seeing you.
