DESCRIPTION:About this event \nC3SC’s Safer\, Cohesive and More Equal Communities Network : 26th January 2023 \nCardiff Third Sector Council will launch their Safer\, Cohesive and More Equal Communities Network on 26th January \nThe C3SC Safer\, Cohesive and More Equal Communities Network is committed to creating stronger\, more resilient and safer communities by ensuring people: \n• feel safe and live in a cohesive community \n• are proud of and want to live\, work\, study and stay in the borough \n• live in a friendly and welcoming borough with strong community spirits. \n  \nA cohesive society is one in which: \n• there is a common vision and sense of belonging by all communities; \n• the diversity of people’s backgrounds and circumstances is appreciated and valued; \n• similar life opportunities are available to all; and \n• strong and positive relationships exist and continue to be developed in the workplace\, in schools and in the wider community. \n  \nThis Network recognises that strong and resilient communities are happier and healthier communities. \nPeople also benefit in terms of their health and wellbeing\, from their connections with people around them and when people look out for each other. \nThe plan is that this Network will act like a glue\, that bonds society together and helps create strong and resilient communities. \nThe meeting will take place on Teams and an invitation link will be sent out prior to the event. \nFor any further enquiries contact C3SC on 07973 725335 or enquiries@c3sc.org.uk. \nWe look forward to seeing you!

DESCRIPTION:For groups interested in building sustainable income streams\, developing supporter base and raising unrestricted funding\n\n\nC3SC is hosting an online fundraising information session for groups in Cardiff to learn more about building sustainable income streams\, developing supporter base and raising unrestricted funding\, delivered by Localgiving. \nLocalgiving is a UK-wide not-for-profit and an online donation platform that has helped over 7\,000 charitable organisations to raise over £40million online. Since 2016\, they have supported over 500 organisations across all 22 counties in Wales to raise over £2.2million through a dedicated Wales programme.  \nAre you interested in building sustainable income streams\, developing your supporter base and raising unrestricted funding? Online fundraising is easy and very cost effective. Through their programme\, Crowdfund Wales\, Localgiving provides a free year of membership\, Gift Aid and training in how to fundraise online. They will support each member to run an online campaign to raise £1\,750 towards a need of your choice\, which will then unlock £250 of match funding.  \nThere are also a number of grant opportunities to apply for throughout the year.
