SUMMARY:DBS Disclosure Training Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Carol – Regional Outreach Adviser – from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be delivering this online training session. \nThe overall outcome of the session is to have a greater understanding of DBS\, its products and how DBS can work with organisations at all levels to promote and encourage safer recruitment and safeguarding in its widest context. \n Date: Monday 12th September 2022 \nTime: 14:00 pm – 15:30 pm  \nThe learning outcomes from this session are:- \n\nIntroduction to DBS\nUnderstand the benefits of DBS and you (organisation) working together\nUnderstand the different levels of DBS checks\nUnderstand when an employee is eligible for a check\nUnderstand what Regulated Activity is\nUnderstand the DBS Update Service\nHave an understanding of what safe recruitment practices can be in place that DBS checks can form a part of\n\nThe event will be taking place on Microsoft Teams and the link will be sent through within 24 hours of the event taking place. \nFor any further enquiry contact C3SC on 07973 725335 or enquiries@c3sc.org.uk \nWe are looking forward to seeing you.
