DESCRIPTION:Leonard Cheshire have an event coming up hosted by Joshua Reeves.\nMy Voice\, My Choice workshop – ‘Fitness and Well-being’\n This workshop will be held at the YMCA Swansea\, SA1 5JQ. 1:30pm-5:00pm\, 17th May 2019.  \n IT’S FREE ENTRY with refreshments!!!!  \n The project My Voice\, My Choice is to Empower disabled people to have their voices heard. This project is to bring disabled people together to enable disabled people within their area to have their voices heard on local issues that matter to them\, enabling them to influence change; improve their local community. This will lead to a more inclusive\, cohesive community\, with stronger community relationships.  \n This workshop will include St Pats Karate Club exercise for all\, motormed and many more.  \n Please contact Joshua on JoshuaReeves@leonardcheshire.org  If you have some people that would be interested.

DESCRIPTION:Mirus are holding a celebration event at Cardiff City Stadium to recognise the achievements of people they support\, staff\, volunteers and carers from across Wales. The event will recognise individual / team achievements\, the positive contributions people have made within their communities and the outcomes people have achieved. The event will celebrate the outstanding work of mirus staff and volunteers and the difference they have made to people’s lives. \nThe programme for the event includes: \n\nAn Awards ceremony where 4 awards for people we support and 4 awards for staff / volunteers / carers will be presented; these will be based on nominations received from people we support\, their families / carers\, staff and partner agencies.\nThe Award of qualification certificates to all staff who have achieved a work based qualification over the past year.\nA buffet lunch.\nA live band / disco.\nGuest Speakers.\n\nTo attend our mirus Star Awards 2019\, please reserve your free space here. \n
