DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with Nu-Hi. \nThis course is delivered by people with personal experience of addiction\, treatment and recovery. It is intended to benefit any staff or volunteers who may come into contact with individuals who have the potential to misuse substances\, are misusing substances or have misused substances. DESCRIPTION:The feedback from the Breaking the Barriers training has shown that people want more opportunity to get to know people who have a learning disability. \nHave a quiet evening playing games and chatting over a meal with people who have a learning disability (and people without). It will be a small gathering where you can get to know people in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere at the Plum Tree in Canton\, with a meal of sharing platters and tapas.
