SUMMARY:African Diaspora Women's Forum: Progress & Challenges Tackling FGM in Wales
DESCRIPTION:This event will provide the Africa community in Wales with a platform for reflection\, discussion\, sharing and networking as well as the opportunity to help shape the African diaspora women’s role in ending FGM in wales and in Africa. \nThe day will explore: \n\nThe history of FGM in Wales\nChanges in attitudes\, actions and social norms of diaspora communities in Wales\nPerceptions and realities of Diaspora 2nd and 3rd generations in relation to FGM\nThe way forward for Wales\n\nWho should attend? \n\nWomen from the African diaspora in Wales\nAfrican diaspora organisations and organisation working with the African diaspora\nService providers to African diaspora women\nDiaspora men are especially welcome!\n\nRead the programme for the day and register for this free event here. \nLunch will be provided.

SUMMARY:C3SC Members' Networking Event and AGM
DESCRIPTION:  \nYou are warmly invited to attend our upcoming Members’ Networking Event and Annual General Meeting to hear about the work we’ve been doing in the past year\, and to meet colleagues from other member organisations. \n You’ll hear from our Chair and Chief Executive who’ll be talking about our Annual Report following another positive year\, with more organisations joining C3SC\, whilst our work and projects have helped us to continue to support the local third sector to make a positive difference. They will also provide an overview of what to expect in the next twelve months in our support for the sector\, and there will be plenty of opportunities for discussion and debate. \n Start time: 1pm – Arrival and Registration  1.15-2.00pm – Networking Lunch and Third Sector Exhibition 2.00-2.30pm – AGM 2.30-3.15pm – Speakers and Question TimeWould you like to ask a question about the impact of the public sector funding cuts and how we should address them as a sector? \n Panel: Cllr Neil McEvoy – Plaid Cymru Councillor  Cllr Peter Bradbury – Cabinet Member for Community Development\, Co-operatives and Social EnterpriseCllr Dianne Rees – Conservative Councillor for Pontprennau and Old St Mellons Cllr Eleanor Sanders – Independent Councillor for Rhiwbina and Pantmawr Beth Button – President of National Union of Students Wales Phil Fiander – Director of Programmes\, WCVA \n If you have a question to ask\, let us know.
