DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Care Council\, in partnership with WCVA\, is delighted to invite you to participate in a train the trainer course to introduce and prepare trainers to deliver the basic awareness in safeguarding training pack as developed by Care Council for Wales in partnership with WCVA and ADSS Cymru. \nAttendees should have some experience of delivering training\, preferably to include safeguarding or adult/child protection\, and should expect or be planning to deliver this pack in their workplace or the community. \nYou will have the opportunity to: \n•         consider the delivery and assessment options with the pack including workbook/induction assessment and SCIF unit assessment requirements; \n•         explore the use of key activities in the pack\, links to the pack workbook and SCIF unit and discuss how this could be used in your training delivery; \n•         consider preparation\, resources and support required to deliver the programme effectively; and \n•          learn from the experiences of others who have delivered the training with this pack.
