SUMMARY:Working Together to Safeguard Children
DESCRIPTION:This is Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Local Safeguarding Children Board training aimed at those professionals who are likely to participate in Child Protection Conferences\, Child Protection Core Groups or Strategy Meetings\, or who support\, advise or supervise staff who may become involved in the child protection process. \nIt is an expectation that participants will have undertaken introductory level safeguarding children training prior to coming on this course. The LSCB does not provide introductory level training. SUMMARY:The South Wales Police Compact with the Voluntary and Community Sector - 'Work together to build and maintain healthy and safe communities'
DESCRIPTION:The Compact is a partnership agreement between the Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales\, the Chief Constable for South Wales and the Third Sector as represented by the seven County Voluntary Councils in South Wales. Its shared objective is the building and maintaining healthy and safe communities across South Wales through strengthening joint and partnership working. \nThe event is aimed at third sector organisations across the South Wales Police Force area (Bridgend\, Cardiff\, Merthyr Tydfil\, Neath Port Talbot\, Rhondda Cynon Taff\, Swansea\, Vale of Glamorgan) particularly those that have an involvement or interest in community safety. \nMore details to follow.
