SUMMARY:Mental Health First Aid (Wales)
DESCRIPTION:  \nTwo-day Diverse Cymru course\nMHFA (Wales) is a 12 hour course which is funded and supported by the Welsh Government and its partners include the Public Health Wales\, Health Challenge Wales and Mind Cymru. MHFA is in 21 countries in the world. The idea of MHFA is that people should be taught how to perform basic ‘first aid’ for those exhibiting signs of mental distress\, just as they are commonly taught first aid for physical problems. SUMMARY:Sustainable Social Services Third Sector Grant Scheme workshop
DESCRIPTION:The new Sustainable Social Services Third Sector Grant will be introduced from January 2016. In advance of the launch of the full bidding round after Easter\, Welsh Government will be holding an information workshop on Tuesday 24 March in central Cardiff.    The workshop will provide information on the context for the new grant\, general feedback from the expression of interest round and information about the full bidding round.   There will also be an opportunity for networking to support Welsh Government’s desire for collaborative applications where this is appropriate.   Organisations who have already submitted an Expression of Interest will receive direct written feedback before the workshop.   Please hold the date while the timings and central Cardiff venue are confirmed\, and to invite you to let Welsh Government know if you wish to attend the workshop.   Given the high level of interest at the expression of interest stage and the venues that are available\, spaces will initially be allocated on the basis of one per organisation.   If you wish to receive further information about the workshop and reserve a place\, please email the Sustainable Social Services Third Sector Grant mailbox on SustainableSocialServicesThirdSectorGrant@Wales.GSI.Gov.UK with the following information:   Name: Organisation: Position: E-mail contact details

DESCRIPTION:A one-day Children in Wales course \nThis course offers participants a broader understanding of how autism can impact on early development\, play and social interaction. This deeper understanding can underpin positive and progressive relationships with autistic children.
